We are at Stitches South and it has been such a fun show.  I found lots of new yarns to knit with including Neighborhood Fiber Arts (pictures coming).  Of course, I visited my old standby, Miss Babs and picked up two skeins of Sojourn (cashmere/silk blend) in two colorways that are special editions, and they [...]]]> 577201_333436753390718_589618149_n

We are at Stitches South and it has been such a fun show.  I found lots of new yarns to knit with including Neighborhood Fiber Arts (pictures coming).  Of course, I visited my old standby, Miss Babs and picked up two skeins of Sojourn (cashmere/silk blend) in two colorways that are special editions, and they are gorgeous!

We debuted the “Totable” here at the show, and the new Yarn Pop family member has been received very well (We are down to one left for the last day of the show!).  The “Gadgety” has also proved to be a great addition, as well (sold out here at the show!).  Of course, the original Yarn Pop is popular and the new prints are great for Spring & Summer.

During Stitches West I always like to have a project going.  I finally decided to use the Mountain Colors Cashmere I had been holding onto for over a year to make a nice cozy pair of wristlets.  I am in love with this yarn and the wristlets.  They are now my favorite pair!  I knit it up in a basic rib/stockinette pattern and I think it is perfect for the yarn.  The pattern really shows off the yarns color and texture and feels really nice against my hands.  Not too thick, but plenty warm!
