We’re very thankful for all of our great customers, and we want to celebrate with you. So, over the next couple months, we’re going to have some fun with all of you through promotions, giveaways and in person celebrations!
Two years ago, we had our first booth at Stitches West, where we met great people and got positive feedback on our first round of products. We launched with only our Single and Double sizes, and have since added our “Totable”, “Gadgety”, “Commuter” and “Mini Commuter” products. We have more new products planned for 2013, which we think you’ll love. Make sure to check our Retail Location page to see if your LYS is carrying our products.
We always like to hear what you think about our products, and suggestons you may have. Some of our products have come directly from customer feedback. If you ever want to send us a message, you can contact us using our Contact Page, or by e-mailing us.
To kick-off celebrations here on our blog, we are going to giveaway a Double in the Turquoise Owls print! Just leave a comment here, and next Sunday, March 17th @ 9PM PDT, we will pick a winner using random.org and your comment #.
Have a great week! Thank you for celebrating with us and for making it fun to do what we do!
Once again, our customers have made a request and we are happy to oblige! Many fans and friends have commented about the Mini Yarn Pop bags. For the holiday season (and a limited time) we are offering the Mini Yarn Pop! Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page over the next few days!
We will offer a different pattern every couple days over the next week. Each Mini Yarn Pop will come with a mini skein of Neighborhood Fiber Co. yarn, enough for one hexi-puff. If you have not been swept up in the craze of making hexi-puffs for the Bee Keeper’s Quilt, there are plenty of other ways a Mini Yarn Pop will be useful to you! The 4”x4” size is just right to hold your additional color for colorwork or striped project. If you need to place stitches on waste yarn in the middle of your project having your scrap yarn in one spot, not rolling about in the bottom of your bag or getting tangled up with your notions can be a big time saver! The Mini size can also hold your notions, those special hand-made stitch markers, a decorative tape measure, small scissors, and post-it note paper!
The Mini Yarn Pop is a great little stocking stuffer perfect gift for knitters and crocheters alike! They are also just the right size to tuck in a gift certificate to your crafter’s favorite LYS! Keep in mind this is a very limited time offer and quantities are limited! We would love to see and hear about how you are putting your Mini to good use! Please comment on our Facebook page, in our Ravelry group or Tweet us!
Speaking of sizes, with the Yarn Pop project bags, you can keep your project organized in the appropriately sized bag. Maybe you’re working on a cowl, like the Milanese Loop for the knit-along in our Ravelry group? You will want the small Yarn Pop. Are you making hexipuffs for the Beekeeper’s Quilt? A Mini Yarn Pop will hold your small bits of yarn and you won’t have to worry about losing them! The change of seasons and change of weather also likely means you will be ready to work on that sweater! Don’t stuff it into a project bag to is too small – give it some room in the Large or Toteable size, and still have room for a smaller project or two!
If you are going to invest the time to make something by hand, you should care for it during the making process. Treating your projects well during the process and keeping them organized will add to your sense of accomplishment when you are finished. This time of year also tends to get chaotic – you will save yourself some stress if you know that the special project is in an easy to spot project bag.
To help get you started on your seasonal project bag change, we thought we’d give away a Small Yarn Pop in our Yellow Dandelion print. Just leave a comment below (one per person) between now and October 21st, and we will pick a winner using Random.org to pick the comment number. You can see our Official Rules here.
We love being able to interact with our fans! What new fall projects are you toting? Let us know about it in our Ravelry group or on our Facebook page! If you are on-the-go with your Yarn Pop you can also tweet us @yarnpop.
When the Yarn Pop line emerged in 2011, the black and white Dandelion print pattern with the yellow lining was among the first patterns. As retailers and consumers have discovered Yarn Pop, this particular pattern has become the signature piece. Yarn Pop bags are 100% cotton and we try to select patterns that not only work well with the bag design, but reflect the fun-loving nature of our customers.
Did you know that one of the newer additions to the line, the Green Dots & Stripes, was chosen to be included based on feedback from our fans? The canvas is very natural with a nice ‘raw’ quality and the color palette work really well to create a unisex knitting project bag.
To celebrate our fans we would like to giveaway one Toteable Yarn Pop in the Green Dots & Stripes pattern! The “Toteable” style is perfect for carrying all your projects, from socks to sweaters, as well as your smaller Yarn Pop’s. With a removable and adjustable strap, you can make it fit your shoulder perfectly and inside you will find three pockets for carrying your phone, needles, notions and anything else you may need. Please leave a comment on this blog post and let us know what project would be the first to grace your new project bag! When you leave a comment, please make sure you put your e-mail address in the ‘E-mail’ field (it will not display publicly and will not be shared). See the official rules here.
We love being able to interact with our fans! We have a KAL forming for a fall accessory; check it out in our Ravelry group or on our Facebook page! If you are on-the-go with your Yarn Pop you can also tweet us @yarnpop.

We are at Stitches South and it has been such a fun show. I found lots of new yarns to knit with including Neighborhood Fiber Arts (pictures coming). Of course, I visited my old standby, Miss Babs and picked up two skeins of Sojourn (cashmere/silk blend) in two colorways that are special editions, and they are gorgeous!
We debuted the “Totable” here at the show, and the new Yarn Pop family member has been received very well (We are down to one left for the last day of the show!). The “Gadgety” has also proved to be a great addition, as well (sold out here at the show!). Of course, the original Yarn Pop is popular and the new prints are great for Spring & Summer.
Also, just a note, come over and join us on Facebook. We will be making some fun announcements over there.
Getting everything ready for Stitches West and excited to head up to Santa Clara. We are in Booth #942 this year.
This is a big year at Stitches for Yarn Pop as it is our 1 year anniversary! We launched our product last year at Stitches and what a great ride it has been so far. This year we are brining more fabric patterns and more stock! There will also be a sneak peak of the new product line, “Gadgety” Yarn Pop, which will be available to purchase in March/April. Please come by our booth and give your feedback!
